kX Survey
In order to improve compatibility with different hardware / software configurations,
we would like to ask the kX Community to take part in our anonymous survey. The goal is to allow
us to gather important information on different aspects of the audio hardware
commonly used.
How can one help us to gather the required information?
Simply download the recent kX Audio driver, install it (reboot if necessary),
ensure the driver is operating,
and select the following menu via the kX Mixer system tray menu: 'Internet' -
'Check for updates'.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet. You will be taken to the 'registration' form
on the kX Project homepage (www.kxproject.com). Fill-in the 'username' and 'e-mail' fields
and click the
'Submit' button. Note that it is not necessary to provide us with your -real- name,
however, avoid commonly used names such as 'John' or 'Smith' and try to invent a unique
'username'. We strongly encourage
you to specify your correct e-mail, however, if you don't want to participate
in beta-testing, fill-in any text without the '@' symbol (don't leave the field empty).
If you change your audio card or upgrade your OS or the kX Audio driver,
please repeat this process (use the same 'username' and 'e-mail').
If your registration fails for any some reason, feel free to let us know by posting
a message at the kX forum.
